More from City Hall: Study it
7:38 p.m.:
Municipal Utilities Director Mark Madison’s second item of the evening is not going as well as the first one (The council is talking about a study session, and that is before an RFP even is issued).
Not tonight, but likely at that study session, Madison will be selling a facilities plan that could cost $500,000 to $1.5 million for what Councilwoman Leslie Baranco Martin called a “booklet” – a facilities master plan. The cost of improvements was uncertain. Madison said it could perhaps amount to $75 million or more.
The measure, as ammended to allow for a study session prior to the issuance of an request for proposals (but after a request for qualifications), is approved 7-0.
