Taylor subpoenaed in Ford case

The City Council committee investigating the firing of Deputy City Manager Johnny Ford has issued a second batch of subpoenas and conducted a hearing today. City Auditor Mike Taylor, a recipient of a subpoena, declined today to comment. It was unclear who else was subpoenaed. The Record submitted a California Public Records Act request Friday for copies of the information.

This afternoon’s scheduled meeting of the council’s audit committee was postponed for lack of a quorum.
