Subpoenas issued in Ford investigation

The City Council committee investigating the firing of Deputy City Manager Johnny Ford has retained a lawyer and this week issued three or four subpoenas, said Councilman Elbert Holman Jr., the chairman of that committee. The attorney is Velma Lim.
