More from City Hall: CCCoS on oversight

5:45 p.m.:

Sylvia Kothe, chairwoman of the Concerned Citizens Coalition of Stockton, is asking for the City Council to place on its agenda a discussion about the formation of a citizens advisory commission for Stockton’s waterworks. CCCoS, which became a serious player when its litigation undid Stockton’s $600 million waterworks privatization deal, has been trying for this for more than a year.

Mayor Ann Johnston said the matter is to come to the committee in July (the matter came to the committee before, which agreed to mull it again).
