From a Stockton Police Department report on a traffic collision Monday outside City Hall (P-1 is Stockton Revitalization Director Dave Harzoff; P-2 is Pauline Keener, a community service officer identified in the report as being a pedestrian at the time of the incident).
P-1 was eastbound in the City Hall parking lot against one-way traffic. P-2 stopped P-1 and advised him he was going the wrong way. P-1 was upset that someone had parked in his parking stall. P-2 advised P-1 to back up, turn around and park in another stall. P-1 backed up quickly while turning his wheels to the right, causing the front end to swing outward to the left, striking P-2’s left leg.
Officer Pete Smith, a department spokesman, said today the accident resulted in a complaint of pain.
Keener referred questions to Smith. Harzoff has yet today to return a telephone call for comment.
