20130425 — Ten years after the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service started helping our cuddliest local endangered species, the riparian brush rabbit, experts say there is substantial improvement in their populations. We’ll go along on an early-morning “census” as biologists check traps set out in the San Joaquin River grasslands. Matt Lloyd checks survey traps on the refuge. Patrick A. Kelly Ph.D, talks about the habitat of the brush rabbit.
