Tough week for Stockton water

First, the city found out that its two-year-old Delta drinking water plant won’t be allowed to divert this summer.

Then, today, a regional water board stuck Stockton with a new wastewater permit that the city argues will cost up to $250 million to implement, without substantially improving the health of the Delta.

Time for a water weekend.
