They want more time

Stockton-based Restore the Delta today asked for more time to comment on the immense Bay Delta Conservation Plan. Specifically, the group wants another 120 days in addition to the 120 days the state has granted.

“We cannot be expected to provide expert comment in 85 working days to a document of this mammoth size,” Restore the Delta Executive Director Barbara Barrigan-Parrilla said in a statement.

Her group is not the first to request an extension.
