Technology and Tylenol

So after I spent a few days pondering which of today’s important water meetings would be most helpful to attend, I attended none of them. I’m sick.

Thanks to the magic of webcasts, though, I’ve got the water commission on one side of my computer screen and the state water board on the other side. I’ll add a third in a little while when the BDCP meeting starts.

From a reporter’s point of view a webcast is never as good as being there in person. You’ve gotta meet people, and people have gotta meet you. Your being there in person reinforces that you legitimately care about the issues.

On a day like this, though, I’m thankful for technology. And Tylenol.
