What’s your flood risk?

There’s yet another new tool for estimating flood risk where you live, this time courtesy the federal government.

Click here and enter your address. Watch that bar move from “lower” risk toward “higher” risk. So far as I can tell, there is no estimation of the depth of the water — only a disconcerting red-orange map.
