The dirty list

Forbes says Stockton is the nation’s ninth-dirtiest city, and part of its rationale is based on the city’s well-publicized financial problems.

“The city has little means to fund environmental initiatives,” Forbes reports.

Not sure what initiatives Forbes has in mind. Dirty air is a Valley-wide problem, and pollution in the Delta comes from many cities and farms across Northern and Central California.
