Christmas: Great day for a water district meeting

They’re having too much fun over at the Stockton East Water District.

The board was discussing its upcoming meeting schedule last week, when, according to the minutes:

“Director (Mel) Panizza expressed concern of future holidays and ACWA conference cutting into normally scheduled board meetings. Manager (Kevin) Kauffman suggested scheduling a special meeting on Wednesday, December 25, 2012.”

Tough to glean sarcasm from meeting minutes, but I think it’s fair to say there will be no Stockton East Water District meeting on Christmas Day.
