Full-page or half-page ads appeared in five California newspapers this weekend, recognizing the 50th anniversary of the San Luis Project.
Sponsored by the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority, the ads quote John F. Kennedy when he dedicated the project: “We prepare the way for those who come after us.”
The ads continue: “As before, Californians are discussing whether to move ahead with major improvements to our water system. Once again, we are called to prepare the way for those who come after us.”
