Too cool

Using an ion beam, Delta College microscopy instructor Frank Villalovoz engraved my name on a computer chip.

The image had to be magnified 35,000 times so that I could read it.

“To give a sense of magnitude, if your name were written in 10 point type and magnified the same amount, it would be 33 stories high according to my calculations,” Villalovoz wrote in an email.

Talk about fine print.
