An appeal to Gov. Brown

One local organization is now appealing directly to the governor on the peripheral canal issue, in advance of his expected announcement later this month.

“Issues that made the Peripheral Canal a bad idea (in) 1982 still have not been resolved,” the San Joaquin Council of Governments writes.
