Gloomy snow survey
No one could have expected good news out of the latest round of snow surveys today, so with that in mind, here is the hammer:
The state Department of Water Resources estimated the snow-water content across the Sierra at 61 percent of normal for the date.

Worrisome water outlook
Zero.
That’s the amount of federal water that Westlands Water District expects to deliver to its farmers, unless the next two months deliver big-time snow in the Sierra.
The Fresno Bee reports that the news was delivered to a standing-room only crowd of growers on Wednesday.

There was one blemish at last week’s presidential inauguration.
