Local Prep Football Schedule: Week 0

Can you taste it? I can.

High school football is on the doorstep, and it all begins Friday with a wonderful slate of games in Stockton, San Joaquin and the Mother Lode.

I’ve been talking Stagg-Lincoln all week, but we should have reporters at Calaveras-McNair, Del Campo-Edison, Sierra-Ripon and more.

And, even though I know you’re all well-versed in MaxPreps (and you’ll pick up a Friday copy of The Record to see our local schedule) I’ve compiled a quick Week 0 football schedule for your reading pleasure.

Lathrop at West, 7 p.m.

Sierra at Ripon, 7 p.m.

Sonora at Oakdale, 7 p.m.

Calaveras at McNair, 7:15 p.m.

Del Campo at Edison, 7:15 p.m.

Freedom at Tracy, 7:15 p.m.
