Long Beach State at Pacific men (halftime)

The Tigers closed the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 31-22 lead into the locker room against Long Beach State.

Junior center Tony Gill leads Pacific’s balanced effort with 9 points off the bench, while Colin Beatty and Khalil Kelley have five points apiece. The Tigers have held the 49ers to 9 of 25 shooting and overcome an early 9-2 Long Beach State lead by scoring 11 points off 11 Long Beach State turnovers.

Pacific has all of the momentum with a moving ceremony honoring all of the former players at Spanos Center today about to start.
