Cal State Northridge at Pacific men (halftime)

Pacific leads a defensive struggle against Cal State Northridge 30-24 at halftime.

The defenses have been agressive and the shooting has been subpar with the Tigers building an early 21-10 lead and the Matadors getting close late. Colin Beatty’s steal and dunk with 15 seconds remaining helped Pacific quell Cal State Northridge’s momentum.

Senior forward Travis Fulton has six points to pace a balanced effort, while Stephan Hicks had eight to lead Cal State Northridge. Hicks is playing on a balky left knee after having missed the past four games.

The halftime entertainment is all Pacific student-athletes that posted a 3.0 GPA and above in the first semester being recognized.
