Cal Poly at Pacific women (halftime)

The Mustangs kept it close in the first half as the Tigers lead 32-25.

Pacific leads despite making just 3 of 12 shots from beyond the arc and turning it over 11 times. The Tigers do have an 18-10 in points in the paint and have held junior Cal Poly center Molly Schlemer to zero points and two rebounds in seven minutes after she had 28 in the Mustangs’ 96-95 win over Pacific last month.

Seniors Ashley Wakefield and Erica McKenzie lead Pacific with 8 points apiece and the bench contributed 12 points. Cal Poly guard Ariana Elegado has a team-high nine points.

This game feels like a Pacific blow out is brewing and the Tigers just need to put a nice five-minute stretch together.
