Two very different milestones in big pink weekend win

Toni Rajala and Garet Hunt had noteworthy moments in the Stockton Thunder’s 6-1 win against Bakersfield on Friday at Thunder Goes Pink VII, the annual event which is dedicated to breast cancer awareness.

Rajala scored a goal just five seconds into the third period, the fastest any Thunder had ever scored at the beginning of a period.

Hunt just added to his franchise record in penalty minutes and became the first Thunder to go over 1,000 minutes. He has 1,002 going into Saturday’s game against Alaska.
