Rams close in on title

Update: J.J. Wagner had an RBI single and Gio Brusa knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth. St. Mary’s now leads Franklin 8-1 in the bottom of the sixth.

Gio Brusa’s two-run triple in the fifth broke the game open. St. Mary’s leads Franklin 6-1 now in the top of the sixth, meaning the Rams are six outs away from their third consecutive Sac-Joaquin Section Division I title.
