Eprz.Red.Hats.4.JPG, Record photo by CLIFFORD OTO Vivian Dorville of Manteca, center, was one of over twenty women from the Manteca branch of the Red Hat Society who met for a luncheon in the Redwood Room of the University of the Pacific’s McCaffrey Center in Stockton. The Society, which has 2900 chapters world wide, was founded on the poem by Elizabeth Lucas titled “When I am an Old Woman”, which begins “I shall wear purple with a red hat which doesn’t go…”.
