Come see the show

I’m always amazed at the quality of the photos in San Joaquin County Fair’s Photography Show. This year’s show includes a bumper crop of great pictures.

This year I was scheduled to judge just the junior show, but due to a scheduling snafu I ended up doing the adult show, as well, which included the amateur division and the more advanced Open division.

There are well more than 800 entries, and for a while it seemed like there was no end to it all. But that’s OK, because from flowers to landscapes, sunsets to panoramas, portraits to sports, black and white to color, there are some incredible images. There were excellent pictures at every level, and it was a privilege to judge them all.

So if you’re out at the fair this year stop in at Building 2 and take in the view.
