Remains of the day

On the drive home from our snow trip to Soda Springs, we stopped in Auburn. The last bits of setting sun graced thunderhead clouds hovering over the Sierras and gave them a warm glow. After a cold day spent in the snow, it was a beautiful sight to warm our hearts.
