The year in pictures: Numbers

The end of the year is a time of reflection, and many news organizations (including The Record) compile their lists of the stories that were the most important over the previous years. Usually it comes down to the top 10. It’s a nice round number, I do it myself in my monthly review of pictures. The number is a bit arbitrary, after all one could consider the top five or 20 or 100. This year I’ve decided to do something a little different: My top 12 favorite pictures. An even dozen, each one representing a month of the year.
