“Do not worry about your problems with mathematics, I assure you mine are far greater.” – Albert Einstein

Math has never been my strong suit. My middle school-aged daughter is studying algebra and I’m lost. I don’t even remember doing some of the stuff that she’s doing now, even when I was in high school. Fortunately (for me), she’s a pretty bright kid and doesn’t need my help very often.

I shot the inaugural show of the Comcast’s Homework Hotline in 1998 and recently shot it again for its 10 year anniversary. On the show, host David Nash and an area teacher answer calls from students with any problems they have with math. That’s all well and good, but they need to have a show for parents like me.
