Cheap gas

Mark Caras of Stockton fills up his 1998 Lincoln Navigator at the Chevron station on Trinity Park
and Eight Mile Road.

Recently, the Chevron gas station in the Park West Place shopping center held it’s grand opening by selling regular unleaded fuel for 97.7 cents a gallon for two hours (Unfortunately, I filled up my own car, at $2.50 a gallon, before coming to work that day). Cars were lined up out of the parking lot and down the street. I saw this man filling up his SUV and decided to use its dark exterior as a mirror. I focused on his reflection, turned my flash towards him (not the vehicle) to make him pop out more and bingo, got my shot.
