Spending time together

I have always felt that one of the most important things a parent can do for and with their child is to spend time with them. Reading, coloring, imaginative play, playgrounds. I recently took my two girls to the Children’s Museum of Stockton.

They hit every exhibit in no time and laughed and giggled through each one. From the water play to the veterinarian clinic, grocery store and so on.

I chased and followed them around and enjoyed watching them play. Outings like these provides us with an opportunity to do something together and for them to let their imaginations run. It also gives me an opportunity to build our relationship and to build them toward becoming whole healthy adults.

These are big shoes to fill.
