Have you ever gone to a parking lot, eyed a perfect stall and, crap, found a shopping cart in the way?
I never thought I would say this, but I like it.
Now that I constantly have someone in tow, it’s really a convenience to get out of my car, move the cart a bit, park, then get my baby out and in it. Sounds like work, eh? But, I don’t have to hold her 25 pound booty all the way to the store, along with my purse or a diaper bag, my reusable bags and maybe a few other necessities.
Now, I’m not saying to all you lazy jerks, “Hey, put your cart in the parking space.” Ya’ll could just move it a little bit! You know, to that four corners spot of the stall so a car can still park there.
I also like it when I’ve unloaded my baby and groceries and someone offers to take my cart for me – being as they need one and/or are heading that way anyway. Love it. I make sure they know how grateful I am for it. That way I don’t have to leave my precious cargo, and baby, alone in the car for even a few seconds – which is scary these days. So, to all you little parking lot do-gooders, I know I can speak for a lot of moms when I say, “Thanks.”
