Supervisor Larry Ruhstaller endorsed Assemblyman Bill Berryhill, R-Stockton, in the race for a seat representing San Joaquin County in the state Senate. District 5 Supervisor Leroy Ornellas ran to represent San Joaquin county in the state Senate, but came up short in the primary election this month. Despite it all, the campaign was a rewarding experience, he wrote in a letter-to-the-editor that ran in today’s paper. Here’s a link to the letter.
