From the world outside the county budget hearings

Walking back to the office after the morning meeting, yesterday,  I passed by the Mexican Heritage Center on Market Street.

Somebody had smashed one of the big windows facing Sutter Street. Gracie Madrid had swept the glass into a pile. I took this photo just before the repair people came round.

By the time the afternoon hearing was over, the window looked as good as new.
