Blasts from the past

Five former members of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors turned out to today’s meeting, joining four current members present to honor retiring Clerk of the Board Lois Sahyoun.

Here’s a picture:

Sahyoun is in the middle. The rest, from left to right, are Steve Gutierrez, Steve Bestolarides, Ken Vogel, Dario Marenco, Bob Elliott, Carlos Villapudua, Douglass Wilhoit, Leroy Ornellas and Victor Mow.

Villapudua delivered a message from another former supervisor, San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge Jose Alva, who couldn’t make it. Vogel said sitting Supervisor Larry Ruhstaller was at a meeting with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
