A group of labor leaders and others planned to hold rallies across the country today opposing cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Organizers were at Rep. Jeff Denham’s office in Modesto this morning, to “urge” him to protect the programs during the lame-duck session of Congress. There was also a group that were at Jerry McNerney’s office in Stockton. Not to urge, but to thank, according to a release from organizers.
