Campaign notes: Measure D on the airwaves

The campaign in favor of Measure D, which would extend term limits for positions on the Board of Supervisors and the county Board of Education has a new ad on the airways. It has already begun running on cable, according to the Central Valley PAC.

It stresses the lifetime ban the measure sets on terms in office, but it also goes after Dean Andal, Measure D’s main opponent. Andal is the author of the measure that set the limit at two terms in 1998.

The ad features a cartoonish version of Andal, with a tagline of “Don’t be fooled by influence peddlers.”

Here’s a link to the ad.
