Campaign notes: New McNerney ad touts veteran support

Rep. Jerry McNerney‘s campaign for his re-election to Congress announced today it had a new television ad. McNerney is running against Republican Ricky Gill.

The announcement from the McNerney camp included this statement from campaign manager Dough Greven:

“Jerry McNerney has worked tirelessly for six years on the issues that matter in San Joaquin and Contra Costa Counties.  It is no surprise that he has the strong backing of local veterans, as he has been a vocal advocate on veterans’ issues since coming to office.  Not only has he passed significant legislation and delivered a brand-new VA facility to the area, he has spent countless hours listening to veterans – including his own son, Michael – to truly understand their concerns.”

Here’s a link to the ad.
