Barber and term limits remembered

Leisha Robertson, who had been a legislative aide for the Board of Supervisors in the 1980s, called after reading today’s story about the Board of Supervisors looking to raise limits on terms of office from two to three.

She remembered long-time Supervisor George Barber talking about term limits: “He said there are term limits in place. It’s called being elected out of office.”
