Wine cartoon

San Joaquin County is considering a title text amendment intended to act as a moratorium on adding new marketing events at wineries while the county drafts a brand new wine ordinance. It’s drawn opposition and shown a rift in both the agricultural community and on the Board of Supervisors.

This cartoon has been circulating for the past couple of days. It shows a symbol representing the San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation holding a couple of puppets in the likeness of Supervisors Ken Vogel and Steve Bestolarides.

Looks like the source might be something called  the Lodi Vintner Alliance.  This cartoon, and a similarly-themed Photoshop mashup, are also on a recently created Facebook page of the same name.
