Caller: Pot helps my irritable bowel syndrome
This morning a 41-year-old man walked to The Record to seek justice because a judge in family law court had just taken his child from him. That is very sad and I’m sure the judge considered this seriously before ruling. I’m also certain that there is much more to the story than the brief blurb the man told me.
The man said his is on drugs, the judge’s reason for his ruling. The man clarified for me that a doctor prescribed him medical marijuana to treat irritable bowel syndrome.
I took his name, phone number and told him I would pass it along to my editors.
Pot is a big story in Stockton these days. This guy’s story may see print after all.
