Video: New Pacific president discusses student issues, enrollment and the future

Pamela Eibeck will be inaugurated today as the president of University of the Pacific. Look for coverage of the ceremony and more about the new president today and tomorrow in The Record and on Recordnet.com.

Record reporter Jennie Rodriguez and I spent about 30 minutes with Eibeck Thursday discussing topics ranging from the inauguration ceremony to student safety. Click here for video of Eibeck’s comments about community issues and working with local school districts to prepare students for college.

Below are two additional videos from Thursday’s interview. In the first video, Eibeck talks about some of the concerns expressed to her by students, as well as student safety.

This video shows Eibeck talking about enrollment and the university’s future.
