Year in Review coming Sunday
Our look back on noteworthy stories, video, photos and multimedia from 2009 goes live on Sunday.
Web Content Producer Kirk Barron has worked hard the past two weeks to put together a collection of photo galleries from The Record’s four photographers, multimedia packages, videos and stories, both chosen by readers and by our staff.
Readers voted online only for a second year in a row. The results were tallied when voting closed 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The package will be a lot similar to last year’s presentation, which will be here until Sunday.
One major difference this year is the inclusion of more videos. Last year the staff picked five of our favorites from throughout the year. The year 2008 marked the first year we shot and edited video for the Web site from January through December.
This year, we’ve chosen 10, which display a broad range of topics covered by both our videographers and photo staff. The videos aren’t necessarily the ones that brought in the most hits, though in some cases they did, but they represent a broad range of diversity in shooting, editing and subject matter.
I encourage our viewers to check out the offerings come Sunday.
