Pneumatic moles
Responding to one concern about the impending installation of water meters – that city crews are going to tear homeowners’ yards apart in the process – the city of Lodi posted a video today of crews installing a a new water line with minimal trenching. Watch below.

Read judge’s Wal-Mart ruling in long-running Lodi case
A Stockton judge has sided with Lodi and Wal-Mart in its long-running Supercenter dispute. Unless the decision is appealed, that means the mega-retailer can start building.

More on the withdrawn Costco, Home Depot appeals
As we reported today, the couple who were fighting a planned Costco and Home Depot stores near their historic Reynolds Ranch home have withdrawn their appeals.
