Here’s an interesting read out of the San Francisco Chronicle about Marc Mondavi – yes, from that Mondavi family – and his ability to find groundwater by walking over land with two metal rods.
It appears he’s commissioned to find wells mostly at wineries. He found a 180-gallon a minute gusher on former 49ers exec. Carmen Policy’s Yountville vineyard. And that’s just one of many accounts.
