Tokay High photographers win SJCOE contest

Two Tokay High students won Awards of Excellence in the fourth annual San Joaquin County Office of Education School is Cool photo contest. This year’s theme was “School Spirit.”

Dino Piazza of Tokay High won first place for his photo of a massive student huddle. The teens are all dressed in orange, many with face paint and hair dye.

Third place went to Edward Jacob Somera – for his cheering crowd shot at a Tokay High football game. Second place winner Nicole Lawrence of Stagg High in Stockton shot a photo of a student doing the limbo.
