Heritage students celebrate API increase

Heritage Elementary School celebrated its dramatic 62 point increase on the state’s Academic Performance Index tests last week. The school scored 717, up from 655 – the biggest increase in the district.

A&W Restaurant provided each student with a certificate for a free root beer float, Rancho San Miguel provided cookies for all students, and Safeway provided balloons for the event.
