No takers for Lodi Lake premium seating

As of Monday nobody has  reserved Hughes Beach or the Rotary Shelter – at a price of $500 – for Lodi Lake Fourth of July festivities.

Lodi spends roughly $50,000 for its Fourth of July, including fireworks. The shelters are popular areas that the city thought could draw rental interest in an effort to recoup a sliver of the budget.

“No takers yet,” Interim Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Director Jeff Hood said on Monday.

The spots can still be reserved.
