Grape Bowl renderings

The Lodi City Council is moving forward with Phase 3 renovations to the Grape Bowl stadium. Here’s today’s story.

The Council is hoping to start work on the upgrades on Nov. 15 – after football season, and with potentially enough time to finish before high school graduations in the Spring. City Manager Rad Bartlam said the timing will be dependent on weather. If contractors can do the work without delay, it will be done by graduation dates. If there’s a month delay due to bad weather, it won’t be done, Bartlam said.

At that point, the city and school district will have to decide if they want to move graduations elsewhere.

Here are a few of the renderings that were presented at the council meeting last night.
