Comic book fans, mark your calendars for May4 — Free Comic Book Day!
Each year, participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books free to anyone who comes into their stores. The goal of Free Comic Book Day is to promote the comic book medium to new customers young and old and celebrate independent comic book retailers and their stores. Comics are exciting and a great tool for introducing young children to the world of reading.
Locally, Al’s Comic Shop at 1847 Pacific Ave., Stockton, will be participating.
