Local bands have until July 21 to submit entries for the first-ever Beadles Battle Of The Bands, set for August-October at Fat Cat in Modesto and Hutchins Street Square in Lodi. First prize is the opportunity to record an album and have it produced, distributed and marketed through a Web site.
The battle is named after Robert Beadles, a promoter and former Republican congressional candidate best known for bringing Chevelle and Sick Puppies to Stockton Arena in March. Beadles also is the founder of the Lodi-based label Big Time Records.

It will start on 8/28 at the Fat Cat in Modesto, resume on 9/18 at The Fat Cat then resume and finish on 10/1 thru 10/3 at the Hutchins St Square in conjunction and partnership with Razer of Living Ink Tattoo Expo.
The prizes will be off the chain and all the proceeds from the first two and a generous amount of the third will go to the Make A Wish Foundation and the Firemen’s Burn Fund. It will be awesome for the bands and rockin for the charities.

2nd – $500 cash prize
3rd – $100 cash prize

Judges will be local radio celebs, media and Recording Studio Owners. There will be around 15-20k people visiting the events, not to mention celebrities and a lot of other surprises. It will all be covered by FOX 40, KCRA, local papers etc.
This event will be the biggest Northern California may have ever seen, its going to be huge!
