Sunday (Father’s Day)

Club Brunch at Clayton'sCool kids take their dads to Club Brunch. The weekly breakfast-and-DJ event at Clayton’s in Modesto will mark Father’s Day with a set by Don Kainoa, a Hawaiian native who’s part of HAWT Music’s San Francisco crew. Kainoa’s repertoire ranges from house to hip-hop and he’s a veteran of OM Records’ Happy Hour. DJs Eddy Muniz, Wookie, Dan Aguilar and 12-year-old Topek Jr. also are on the bill, and the menu features eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, Clayton’s burger and other tasty dishes. The Enlows at Plea for PeaceIf your dad’s more of a punk than a lounge guy, head to the Plea for Peace Center in Stockton Sunday night and check out The Enlows. The Sac foursome has an insanely catchy sound rooted in its upbeat harmonies. The New Rich and other bands also are on the bill; for details, click the flier (which is awesome, btw, Middagh.)
